Israel’s decision to seize Palestinian lands in the West Bank, such as Nili and Naali, is said to be aimed at consolidating control. This decision raises concerns as the United Nations condemns illegal settlements and undermines the principle of a two-state solution.
Israeli Army Actions in the Palestinian Territories
The Council to Combat the Segregation Wall and Jewish Settlements, affiliated with the Palestine Liberation Organization, announced that the Israeli army captured 441 acres of land in villages west of Ramallah. The Israeli army also detained four Palestinians in raids in the West Bank city of Jenin.
