Israeli Soldiers Attack in Hebron
Israeli soldiers surrounded a house in a central area of Hebron, firing heavily and firing missiles into the house, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA. Muhennad Muhammad Mahmud al-Usud(34) was martyred in an Israeli army attack. After the attack, Israeli soldiers kept the body of the Palestinian.
The images shared about the incident show Israeli soldiers opening fire on the house several times and then taking the body of a person away from the house. This situation has once again highlighted the tension in the region.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee, In a statement on his Facebook page, he said, “The army and the domestic intelligence agency Shin-Bet (Shabak) surrounded the house where one of the perpetrators of the attack in Terkumya was hiding this morning and neutralized the attacker.” Adraee also stated that the investigation into the morning attack is ongoing.
Following the morning attack, the Israeli army closed the northern entrance to Hebron and the entrance to the nearby town of Izna, and reportedly sent reinforcements to the western parts of the city.
Just before this incident, three Israeli police officers were killed when a vehicle opened fire on an Israeli police vehicle in the town of Terkumya in the West Bank city of Hebron.
