Raids of the Israeli Army in the West Bank
According to information received from eyewitnesses, the occupying Israeli army carried out new raids on the city of Hebron and its surrounding towns in the south of the West Bank. At least 4 Palestinians were detained during these raids.
As a result of the operations carried out especially in Bethlehem and the neighboring town of Irtas, located in the south of the West Bank, the occupying forces detained 3 more Palestinians. In addition, the city of Ramallah and its surrounding towns, located in the central parts of the West Bank, were also among the targets of the occupying Israeli army. At least 2 Palestinians were detained during the raids here.
Earlier in the day, the occupying Israeli army also raided the cities of Jenin and Nablus. However, these raids were short-lived and Israeli soldiers quickly withdrew from the region. These attacks continue increasingly after the attacks launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
As a result, there has been a significant increase in detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem since October 7, 2023. During this period, a total of 692 Palestinians were martyred as a result of the attacks of Israeli soldiers and Israelis occupying Palestinian lands.
