Iraqi Parliament Transport Commission Inspects Airport

It was learned that members of the Iraqi Parliament’s Transportation Commission conducted research on the ban on flights imposed by Turkey during their inspections at the airport. Kirkuk researcher and author Meral Saatçi made a statement on the subject, saying, “The security measures taken by Turkey should be seriously evaluated. The delegation consisting of members of the Iraqi Parliament’s Transportation Commission conducted inspections to investigate why the airport was subject to these sanctions . Although no clear results have yet been obtained, the details of how the PKK operates from the airport will be revealed.”
