Hamas Statement and Developments on Israeli Prisoners
Spokesman Abu Ubaydah shared important information about the recent events in a statement he made via Telegram. Abu Ubaydah stated that in two separate incidents, two Qassam members responsible for protecting Israeli prisoners opened fire and killed a prisoner and seriously injured two female prisoners. Emphasizing that efforts are ongoing to ensure the survival of the wounded prisoners, Abu Ubaydah stated that the massacres in Gaza and the reactions that resulted from them all belong to the Israeli government. He also stated that a committee has been established to examine the details of the incident and that a new statement will be made in the coming days.
On the other hand, the Israeli army spokesman, referring to the Hamas statement, confirmed the information that Qassam members killed an Israeli prisoner and injured two female prisoners in two separate incidents. The statement included the statement that “there is no intelligence information to confirm or deny the incident yet.” It was also shared that an investigation has been launched into the matter.

Immediately following Hamas’ statement, Israeli journalist Barak Ravid shared on his social media account, “For weeks, the heads of the (Israeli) Security Service have been telling Netanyahu that the abductees (Israeli prisoners in Gaza) are running out of time and that Their lives are in danger.
