World Ethnosport Confederation President Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan also attended the 2024 summer school launch held in Gaziantep by the Turkish Youth Foundation with the slogan ‘One Summer, a Thousand Futures’. Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, Turkish Youth Foundation General President İbrahim Beşinci, members of parliament and students also attended the program.
In his speech, Bilal Erdoğan emphasized the importance of TÜGVA’s summer schools and stated that more than 200 thousand secondary school students across Turkey benefited from these camps. He stated that students will spend the summer months productively with educational and sports activities. Addressing the young people, Erdoğan said, “This summer, you will have a pleasant time doing sports while improving yourself in our schools. If you experience this experience and are satisfied, I recommend you participate every year. It is important that you support the activities of this foundation.”
Emphasizing that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made Turkey a self-confident and determined country, Bilal Erdoğan stated that young people should be brave and self-confident. He also drew attention to the conflicts and massacres taking place around the world and said, “If we do not prevent these negativities, other countries will not either. Because they are behind these problems. Therefore, as educated and hard-working individuals, we “must fight not only for our own future, but for all of humanity.”
At the end of the program, successful students were given plaques and awards.
