IHH’s Aid Work in Syria
Carrying out aid activities in many areas such as food, health, shelter and education Human Rights and Freedoms Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHH)provides significant support to civilians who are victims of war with its offices and logistics centers established in various regions of Syria. In this context, IHHoath Syrian Red Crescent Relief Fund (SCHF)The project titled “Providing cash and in-kind food support to the most vulnerable people in the northwest of Syria”, carried out in cooperation, has been a ray of hope for those in need.
This project December 1, 2023was launched on and 31 August 2024It continued until today. During the project, the needs of families living in Afrin’s Raju town were taken into consideration. Within the framework of the project:
- 1150total to family 371,475Dollar cash aid was provided.
- 3,450Food parcels were distributed.
Thanks to this assistance, approximately 5,500people directly benefited, and the basic food needs of families were met, contributing to raising their living standards. Such activities of IHH are of great importance in alleviating the humanitarian crisis in the region and helping war victims hold on to life again.
