Hezbollah Responds to Israel: Attacks Continue
Hezbollah announced in a written statement that the headquarters of the Sahel battalion in the Beit Hilal Barracks in northern Israel was hit by a Katyusha rocket. It was stated that this attack was carried out in response to the Israeli airstrikes on the Ayta al-Shaab town in southern Lebanon.
The statement also stated that the Israeli spy mechanisms in the Ruwaysat al-Alam position in the Kafr Shuba Heights were directly targeted with weapons. It was also noted that targets in the Israeli region of Marj were hit with missiles and that the military zone in Zarit was also under attack.
According to the official Lebanese agency NNA, Israeli army aircraft carried out an airstrike on the Ayta al-Shaab town in the border region. It was reported that a moving motorcycle was targeted in the attack, and that one person was killed and one person was injured as a result of this incident.
The tension and conflicts between the two sides, which have continued since October 8, 2023, have created serious concerns at the border. During this period when both sides are increasing their military activities, the safety of civilians in the region is under great threat.
