Hezbollah defended retaliation for Israel’s airstrikes on southern Lebanon in a statement it made on its official Telegram account. The statement said the Sahel Battalion’s headquarters in the Beit Hilal barracks was hit with a Katyusha rocket.
However, Hezbollah announced that a kamikaze drone attack was carried out on its headquarters in Beit Hilal. It was reported that there were deaths and injuries among Israeli soldiers as a result of the attack. It was reported that the kamikaze drone targeted soldiers stationed in the illegal settlement of Kfar Yuval.
Hezbollah also noted that the Jal al-Alam Military Base, which belongs to the Israeli army and is located on the border, was targeted with artillery fire. According to the Lebanese official agency NNA, Israeli soldiers hit the town of Khiam with heavy artillery fire and phosphorus bombs.
