The heavy rain that started in the morning hours showed its effect in the coastal districts of Rize. Due to the rain that was effective in the districts of Fındıklı, Ardeşen, Pazar and Çayeli, the streets and avenues turned into lakes. Some businesses, especially in the Pazar district, experienced flooding.
The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a rainfall warning for the coastal areas of Rize. In addition, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) warned citizens about floods, landslides and inundations.
