Hot Weather Effect Across the Country
According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is predicted that the heat wave, which will make its impact felt throughout the country, will be more pronounced, especially in the inner regions.
What will the weather be like today?
According to the data of the General Directorate of Meteorology, air temperatures are expected to increase by 2 to 4 degrees in inland areas. The effect of the hot weather, which will be above the seasonal norms throughout the country, will be supported by the fact that the winds will generally blow from the north, but over time, they will blow southwards in a light and occasionally moderate force on the Mediterranean coasts and southeastern parts.
What will the weather be like this week?
Current temperatures across the country are expected to rise 4-8 degrees above seasonal norms in some regions as of Monday. According to information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, air temperatures, which are above seasonal norms in the southern parts of Turkey, are expected to increase in the northern, central and eastern parts.
Accordingly, during the next week, air temperatures will be 1 to 3 degrees above seasonal norms in coastal areas, southern parts of the Marmara Region, Inner Aegean, inner parts of the Mediterranean Region, Central Anatolia, inner parts of the Black Sea Region and Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia regions. In the northern parts, it is expected to be 4 to 8 degrees above seasonal norms.
