Manisa Governor Enver Ünlü stated that 193 children were provided a warm home thanks to 163 foster families in the province, and said, “Our foster families who take care of our children with the feelings of love and compassion in their hearts, not through blood ties but through life ties, each of you are great heroes for our society.”
Governor Enver Ünlü and his wife Sema Ünlü came together with foster families and their children who provide the warmth of a home and love of family to children under state protection on June 30th Foster Families Day. In addition to Governor Unlu, Manisa Celal Bayar University President Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Deputy Governor Mevlüt Özmen, Şehzadeler District Governor Fatih Genel, Yunusemre District Governor Atilla Kantay, Saruhanlı District Governor Murat Acar, Provincial Police Chief Fahri Aktaş, Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Mustafa Kılıç, foster families and children attended the program.
Speaking at the program and celebrating the day of foster families, Governor Enver Ünlü said, “First of all, I would like to thank you all sincerely for further strengthening the concept of family, which is the foundation of Turkish society, as foster families and for being a warm home for our children. In Turkish society, family is a sacred structure where feelings of love, trust and loyalty are experienced most intensely. Every child needs to grow up in a loving family environment, be supported and look to the future. with confidence. We are members of a large family that has overcome many difficulties together throughout history and has taken each other under its wings. Being by the side of those in need and helping those in difficult situations are among our most fundamental values. “of the love and compassion given by our foster families in this regard is immeasurable. Because you are the best example of sacrifice and devotion that builds a new future in the hearts of our children and brightens their tomorrows.”

Governor Ünlü continued his speech: “Dear Children, you are our future, our most valuable treasure. Your happiness and success are the greatest source of pride for us. On this occasion, I would like to thank you, our valued families, for undertaking this sacred duty, and I congratulate you wholeheartedly, and hope that Foster Family Day will lead to a better understanding of the concept of family and the importance of foster families in our society.” .
