Aydin Provincial Health Director Dr. Eser Şenkul visited citizens affected by the smoke while responding to the forest fire in Kuşadası district at Kuşadası State Hospital where they were receiving treatment. The Director and Deputy Director of Health Services and the hospital management also accompanied the visit.
Provincial Health Director Dr. received information about the health conditions of citizens and teams during the visit. Eser Şenkul wished all the citizens affected in the fire area to get well soon and wished the firefighting teams and medical personnel ease in their work.
Dr. Şenkul stated that 10 112 Emergency Health teams, 2 UMKE teams, 1 Emergency Response Vehicle, 1 UMKE Logistics vehicle and 41 healthcare personnel were assigned to the fire zone to provide first aid to the firefighting teams and citizens exposed to the fire when the fire started . He also emphasized that hospitals were prepared in the region and the necessary precautions were taken.
Şenkul said, “We convey our best wishes to the people and citizens of Aydın who were affected by the fire, and thank our colleagues who fought against the fire.”
