Statement from the Gaza Ministry of Health
The Gaza Health Ministry made a written statement on the issue on its Telegram account. The statement emphasized that the fuel crisis experienced in all health facilities in the Gaza Strip. It was stated that the difficulties in obtaining the fuel required to operate hospital generators, oxygen stations and refrigerators where medicines are stored continue to be maintained.
In some cases, it was stated that serious austerity measures were applied as part of the fuel saving policy, and that work had been stopped in many departments of operating hospitals. The ministry called on international and humanitarian organizations to urgently provide and intervene in the fuel required for the operation of generators in health centers.
