Funeral Prayer in Absentia for Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi
A commemoration event was held for Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who lost her life as a result of fire opened by occupying Israeli soldiers during a peaceful demonstration in the occupied West Bank. This event was held at the Dergah Mosque in Balıklıgöl Campus.
After the Friday prayer, the participants performed the funeral prayer in absentia for Ayşenur. In this meaningful event, other martyrs who lost their lives in the invading Israeli attacks were also commemorated. After the prayer, prayers were made and Yasin-i Şerif was recited for the souls of the martyrs.
Representatives of various non-governmental organizations and many citizens attended the program. Participants called for peace and justice and hoped that such incidents would not happen again.
