The fire that broke out in the pine trees and forest in the Pamucak area of ​​Izmir’s Selçuk district poses a great danger. The fire started around 17:00 and spread rapidly. Citizens who noticed the smoke immediately reported the situation to the forestry teams. The fire is being intervened with 4 aircraft, 5 helicopters, 10 water tankers, 5 water supply vehicles and 5 dozers belonging to the Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry.

The fire, which has spread to the forest in Kuşadası district of Aydın, is being brought under control with intensive efforts by teams. A great fight is being waged against the flames with interventions from the air and land.
