Mustafa Altunhan, the facility operator on the beach of Yayla village, reacted to the holidaymakers who caused a serious danger by lighting a fire in the forest area. The incident was revealed with images recorded by Altunhan using his mobile phone camera.
Altunhan noticed the smoke rising from the forest area and immediately went to the area. Seeing that a fire was lit in the forest area, Altunhan warned the holidaymakers and asked them to extinguish the fire. “Put out this fire, this is the forest. What a shame, it’s a sin.” said Altunhan, reminding how forest fires threaten Turkey.
Upon Mustafa Altunhan’s warning, holidaymakers took action and extinguished the fire. Those moments were captured on a mobile phone camera, and the video recording of the incident caused wide repercussions on social media.
