Living in Döşeme Neighborhood of the central Seyhan district, Celal Güner (70), father of four children, left home last Saturday to visit his elder sister Elif Tüylü (75). However, he did not return. Elder sister Tüylü called her brother’s wife Sevgi (67) and reported the situation, and the concern grew.
Missing for 6 Days
The Güner family, who reviewed the security cameras in the area, reported the situation to the police when they could not find Celal Güner. Police teams began searching for Celal Güner, who has Alzheimer’s disease, but the elderly man, who has been missing for 6 days, has still not been found.
‘I’m Looking for My Father Street by Street’
Celal Güner’s daughter Seycan Aşık stated with tears that she searched for her father but could not find him. Aşık said, “For God’s sake, let anyone who sees my father contact us. I have been looking for my father for days. The police say they saw my father on the security camera but he still has not been found.”
‘We were devastated’
Aşık stated that they were worried about his father’s health condition and that the family was devastated. “My father doesn’t know when he is hungry or full. I go from neighborhood to neighborhood. My father has 4 children, we are all looking for him. He has no money in his pocket, we are devastated. Everyone is looking for “There has been no news of our father for 6 days. Will they bring us his dead body?” he said, expressing his concerns.
