Necmettin Biçer, who joined the protest, called on his daughter who was on the mountain to ‘surrender’. Biçer said, “I am a father who has been continuing the protest for his children in Diyarbakır and Van since 2019. Since then, many mothers and fathers in the East and Southeast have started this protest for their children. I am one of those fathers .Since 2019, 56 of our children have been reunited with their families. I call out to all the young people on the mountain: ‘Come without wasting time, surrender to the security forces and seek refuge in the great Turkish justice.’ All of our children who came with their families. Some got married, some got a job. From here, I call out to my daughter: ‘My daughter, come without wasting time, surrender. They are scaring you. They say that if you come, the soldiers will do this, that. There is no such thing, my daughter. This is definitely a lie. All of the children who came are with their families.'”

Yesterday, one of our children was saved from the clutches of terror, 56 of our children have surrendered and reunited with them. is my child or another mother’s child, it makes no difference. May God not leave our rights to the HDP and PKK. The knife has reached the bone now. We will not leave this door, we will not be afraid of the HDP and PKK. .They say, ‘We are defending the rights of the Kurds.’ They are lying. This has nothing to do with being Kurdish. I am also a Kurd, I am proud of my Kurdishness. However, they should not defend my rights in this way. My daughter has been living in the mountains and caves for 13 years. Is she hungry or thirsty? We don’t know that.”
