The traditional pilaf day event organized by the Association of Solidarity and Solidarity of Young People Leaving Eskişehir Orphanages (ESALDER) was held for the 15th time this year. Hundreds of people who stayed in orphanages in Eskişehir in the past years came together at the Social Services Campus. Families of individuals who have stayed in orphanages in the past also participated in the event.
Participant Adnan Özbaş stated that one of the aims of the event was to bring together people who had previously lived in the same environment and ensure integration. He also stated that young people living in the Love Houses also participated in the event and spent time together.
Özbaş said, “21 young people staying in the Love Houses also participated in the event. Approximately 200 of our brothers and sisters are there. We visit these young people from time to time. It was difficult for us to prepare this place today, but we started preparations months ago. We came together with people who had not seen each other for years, who came from out of town and abroad. Our state supports us, and we try to come together with such events and strengthen our unity and solidarity. “
