Information on Unfair Price Increase Inspections from Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Commerce
In the inspections carried out by the Provincial Directorate of Trade teams in Eskişehir, a total of 276,640.00 TL administrative fine was imposed on the companies that detected unfair price increases. In the inspections carried out in June, detailed inspections were carried out within the scope of the Law on Consumer Protection in the center of Eskişehir and its districts.
During the inspections, 3,145 products from 455 different companies were examined, and 48 companies and 240 products that were determined to have unfair price increases were specifically inspected. As a result of the irregularities detected during the inspections, an administrative fine of 276,640.00 TL was imposed. The files of the companies where unfair price increases were detected were sent to the Unfair Price Evaluation Board within the Ministry of Trade.
