Accompanying President Erdoğan to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, for the 24th Summit of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Emine Erdoğan visited the Support Center for Children in Difficult Living Conditions affiliated with the Astana Governorate.
Emine Erdoğan examined the work of 76 students, consisting of Kazakh, Uzbek and Russian children between the ages of 3 and 15, at the center, met with the children and distributed gifts.
At the center, children supported by TİKA read poems to Emine Erdoğan and exhibited their work.
During the visit, Kazakhstan Health Minister Akmaral Sharipbayevna, TIKA Astana Coordinator Hikmet Özdenoğlu and other officials accompanied by Emine Erdoğan.
Following the visit, center officials expressed their gratitude for the support provided by Turkey and Emine Erdoğan’s visit.
