Cezayir'in Talebiyle Acil BMGK Oturumu

Mansour spoke at an emergency United Nations Security Council (UNSC) session called at the request of Algeria following the Israeli army’s attack on a school in Gaza where displaced people were taking shelter, which led to the deaths of at least 100 Palestinians. In this context, he is stressed that Israel continues to take lives with complete disregard for civilian life.

Stating that Israel “does not care” about the condemnations made against it, Mansour said: “Let’s be clear. Israel rejects the decisions and does not even listen to your arguments.”Mansur pointed to Israel’s UN Permanent Representative Gilad Erdan, who was focused on his phone during the session, “While you’re talking, the Israeli representative prefers to play on his phone.”he said.

Stating that there is no reasonable explanation for Israel’s actions against Palestinians, Mansour said: “What is happening in Gaza has nothing to do with the prisoners. Israel is clearly showing how little it cares about them. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has other priorities.”made an assessment.

Addressing the UNSC, Mansur said “Wake up. Stop imagining that Israel will stop killing thousands of civilians and imposing famine and torture, while you call on them to stop.”He called on the members of the UNSC not to give up their duties and to use the powers they have effectively, “When will Israel be held accountable for its actions? It is time to impose sanctions on Israel, which is responsible for war crimes. When will you implement your decisions and international law? Sanctions must be imposed on these criminals.”he said.
