Egypt Warns Iran About Airspace

Egypt’s Civil Aviation Ministry has made an official statement that Iran’s airspace will be closed to civilian flights due to military exercises. The ministry said that the exercises will take place on August 7th between 11:30-14:30 Tehran time (11:00-14:00 Turkish time) and will continue on August 8th between 04:30-07:30 (04: 00-07:00 Turkish time).

The statement said that Iranian authorities have informed all civil aviation companies using their airspace about this situation. According to authorities in Egypt, all airlines in the country have also been warned not to use Iranian airspace during these hours.
