The Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA), operating in the provinces of Artvin, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Ordu, Rize and Trabzon, launched the Social Development Support Program (SOGEP)-Anatolians Project Proposal Call within the scope of the program launched nationwide.

The Anatolian Project, which is being carried out under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s wife Emine Erdoğan, was put out to the “SOGEP-Anatolians” project call for proposals under the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The project aims to support the agricultural fertility of the lands, culinary culture, the skills of craftsmen and regional wealth, and to uncover new entrepreneurial opportunities.

The “Anatolians” project is a programme to be implemented through Development Agencies and Regional Development Administrations. In the statement made by the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA) regarding the project, detailed information about the purpose and content of the project was shared.

About the Anatolian Project

  • Project Purpose:The Anadoludakiler project was implemented to eliminate social problems by activating local dynamics, increasing the participation of disadvantaged segments of society in economic and social life, increasing employability, and supporting social entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • Project Execution:The project, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, will be carried out in cooperation with Development Agencies and Regional Development Administrations.
  • Project Application Conditions:The minimum budget of the projects to be prepared must be 1 Million TL. Priority issues in the projects include increasing employability, social entrepreneurship and innovation, social inclusion and social responsibility.
  • Financing Contribution:Public institutions and non-profit organizations must provide a certain percentage of the co-financing contribution to the projects they own. For-profit organizations can only apply or participate as partners for certain projects.
