The draw for new housing in the city center was held
A draw was held for the housing project launched by TOKİ in Yeşilyurt Neighborhood in the city center for families whose houses were destroyed by the trenches dug by PKK terrorists in 2015-2016. The beneficiaries were determined in this important event organized for the houses that will be built in 2022.
The beneficiaries of 136 houses participated in the draw held by the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in the presence of a notary in the institution’s meeting hall. The Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change participated in the draw. Hakki Turgut, Deputy Provincial Director Cengiz Erenand waiting families to become homeowners participated.
Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Provincial Director Hakki Turgut emphasized that the draw was carried out fairly and transparently, and made the following statements:
“Following the terrorist attacks in 2015-2016, we, as the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, built a total of 10,443 houses. Now, we are holding the draw for 136 beneficiaries in Yeşilyurt Neighborhood. Our aim is to place our citizens in their houses in the best possible way.”
While this draw is a new beginning for the victimized families, it also stands out as an important step taken by the state within the scope of social responsibility projects.
