Difficult Situation in Gaza: Civilians Affected by Attacks

Gazze'deki Zor Durum: Saldırılardan Etkilenen Siviller

Due to the attacks carried out by the occupying Israel, civilians in Gaza are having a hard time in every field. Even if they manage to escape the bombardments, they face many serious problems such as basic food, shelter and health. Especially children and women are among the groups most affected by this situation.

A Palestinian baby born in Gaza under ongoing attacks represents one of the most striking examples of suffering. 3-month-old Sened Ayyad is struggling with various health problems due to difficulties experienced during birth. Ayyad, whose head grew larger and lost his ability to see as a result of fluid accumulation in his brain, is currently being treated at the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Belah.

Under these difficult conditions, healthcare services in Gaza are under great pressure. While hospitals do not have sufficient capacity for both the injured and the sick, there is also a lack of medical supplies and medicine. The strain on Gaza’s health system makes the struggle for survival of civilians even more difficult.

Many children like Sened Ayyad are trying to survive in these brutal conditions brought by war. Their treatment is of great importance not only for medical intervention but also for attracting the attention of the international community.
