Daniel Güiza Continues His Football Career
Fenerbahçe’s former star Daniel Güiza continues his football career. The Spanish forward is still active on the field despite turning 44 on August 17. Güiza signed a 1-year contract with UD Rotena, a Spanish third-division team.
Transferred to UD Rotena
UD Rotena Club officially announced the transfer of Güiza. The club’s statement said, “Güiza came to strengthen our team’s forward line. He will make a great contribution to our team with his European champion experience and goal scorer identity. We wish Dani success in his new home.”
He Played for 17 Teams in His Career
Having played for 17 different teams throughout his football career, Güiza played for the Spanish team Getafe after leaving Fenerbahçe and later competed in the Malaysian and Paraguayan leagues. Playing for the 2nd and 3rd league teams in his hometown of Spain, Andalusia, since 2018, Güiza continues his experience actively on the field.
