Culture Road Festival in VAN
In VAN, within the scope of the ‘Culture Road Festival’ activities, the ‘Mozart A Little Night Music’ concert on the historical Akdamar Island in the Gevaş district attracted great attention. Those who came to the island listened to the concert where beautiful pieces were performed with pleasure.
The 6th stop of the Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was Van. Within the scope of the festival held in 16 cities this year, Van will host rich events between 29 June and 7 July. Van residents will meet with art through concerts, theatres, opera performances, exhibitions, workshops, talks, gastronomy experiences and many other events.
The ‘Mozart A Little Night Music’ concert, held on the historical Akdamar Island on the second day of the festival, received full marks from the participants. Visitors who came to the island for the concert enjoyed listening to Mozart’s works in the unique atmosphere of the island.
Eda Bora, who attended the event held on Akdamar Island, stated that they were very happy that the Turkish Culture Road Festival was held in Van and said, “Many events were held within the scope of the festival. The concert on Akdamar Island was really great. The beauty of the island is different in every season, visitors are happy to come here.” “They enjoyed it. We are very pleased,” he said.
Eylem Özdemir, who came from Diyarbakır, stated that it was her first time on Akdamar Island and said, “I had never been there before and now I regret it. It was a wonderful atmosphere, we liked it very much. The concert was very impressive and relaxing.”
