In a meaningful program organized by various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the city, citizens came together in Mevlana Square after the Friday prayer. This meeting demonstrated an important example of social solidarity and unity.
In the most important part of the program, the deceased EygiA funeral prayer was performed in absentia for him. After the prayer, the participants prayed for the Palestinians who were martyred as a result of Israeli attacks and shared their pain. While this commemoration event brought deep sadness to the participants, it also offered the opportunity to call for justice and peace.
Such organizations aim not only to commemorate the losses, but also to draw attention to international problems and increase social awareness.
