Attack in Deir ez-Zor: 11 Civilians Martyred
According to local sources, an attack by Iranian-backed groups in the Muhsan district of Deir ez-Zor province in Syria has led to a major tragedy. The attack targeted the village of Dhele, east of the Euphrates River, with surface-to-surface weapons.
In the attack, 6 children, 4 womenTotal including 11 civilians lost their lives. It was also reported that 5 civilians were injured. Following the incident, it was also noteworthy that Iranian-backed groups targeted the funeral ceremony held for those martyred in the attack; However, no information was given about any martyrs or injuries in this second attack.
There are frequent clashes between Iranian-backed groups located west of the Euphrates River and PKK/YPG terrorists occupying the east of the river. This complicates the security situation in the region and shows that civilians are also in great danger.
