A Chinese scientific research team has taken a revolutionary step in the fight against cancer. The versatile artificial intelligence model developed by the team can read pathological images of cancer in detail.
The researchers state that this artificial intelligence application, which they call “PathOrchestra,” can analyze more than 20 organs. It is stated that the application includes many features such as pan-cancer classification, lesion definition, multiple cancer and biomarker evaluation.
As a result of the tests, it was revealed that PathOrchestra reached an accuracy rate of over 95 percent in nearly 50 cancer cases. These successful results show that developments in the field of artificial intelligence can play an important role in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
This study is also considered a reflection of China’s rapid growth in the field of artificial intelligence.
