Arınç stated that he was following the incident closely and would also follow the legal process. Addressing CHP Chairman and Manisa MP Özgür Özel, Arınç said, “Our expectation from a Manisa chairman is to immediately expel from his party the person who exhibits this approach that poisons the political climate of Manisa and the fraternal environment of our fellow citizens.”
