An interesting incident occurred in the Kaplıkaya Attraction Center in the Yıldırım district of Bursa. A bus driver who came to the area for a tour consulted his navigation for the return route. However, he absentmindedly made the wrong choice and followed the pedestrian route. This caused the bus to enter a road with stairs and the vehicle got stranded.
The locals who saw the incident immediately took action and rushed to help. The citizens managed to save the bus by using paving stones and tried to eliminate the effects of the driver’s navigation errors.
‘A Mistake Frequently Made by Drivers’
Burak Uğur, who witnessed the incident, described what happened as follows:“The driver absent-mindedly made the wrong choice after turning on the navigation. He chose the pedestrian path instead of the vehicle path. He must have thought that the staircase in front of him was on a slope and started driving down.”
Uğur immediately rushed to help save the bus after the incident. He emphasized that navigation errors are a common mistake among drivers and that one must be careful.
