Bursa Governor Mahmut Demirtaş inspected the Gemlik coastline. Demirtaş, who inspected the Büyükkumla, Gemsaz, Kumsaz, Kurşunlu coasts, received information from institutions regarding illegal and unlicensed structures occupying the coasts.
The Duty to Protect Our Natural Assets
In his post on his social media account, Governor Demirtaş received information from the relevant institution officials about the problems of illegal and unlicensed construction occupying the coasts, especially the cleanliness and safety of the coasts, chatted with citizens along the coastline and listened to their suggestions and demands.
“It is our fundamental duty to take care of the natural assets entrusted to us in our heavenly homeland in the best way possible. We will protect our shores, coasts and seas together. The seas are our common heritage.”
