The old goods auction held in Şehit Turhan Bayraktar Park in Burhaniye district is proud to have completed its third year. This event, which brings together enthusiasts in Edremit Bay, attracts great interest among citizens.
In the auction, all kinds of items are offered for sale in a wide range from books to carpets, from clothes to antiques. In addition to products that are no longer in production, there are also opportunities for those who want to evaluate unused items at home. Citizens who want to shop have a pleasant time at the auction, where different people participate every week.
The auction is hosted by Ali Bayraktar, who organizes it, with Murat Aker as the presenter and Ergenç Çavuşoğlu as the accountant. Among the items sold at the auction, there are hundreds of items such as antique plates, sailor lanterns, old carpets and rugs.
Şerafettin Esen, one of the participants of the auction, said, “I have been participating in this auction for about 2 years. By selling the items I do not use at home here, I earn income and buy new items. I both contribute to “The economy and have a pleasant time.”
Nazmi Terzi, who came to the auction from Ankara, said, “I come here from Ankara every week. I can find beautiful things here and I enjoy shopping. The atmosphere of the auction makes us happy, I recommend everyone to come.”
Metin Egeli, who came from Ayvalık, said, “I have been attending this auction regularly for three years. I can find beautiful items at affordable prices here. We have a pleasant time with my friends.”
