Tensions Between Israel and Lebanon Continue
The Israeli army’s official account shared details about the incidents that took place in the Kiryat Shimona area. At 23:30, around 10 missiles launched from Lebanese territory were detected and successfully countered by air defense forces. Thanks to air defense systems, there were no casualties.
However, nearly 10 missiles launched from Lebanese territory were destroyed in the attack on the north of the country. There were no casualties in cities such as Kiryat Shimona, Beit Hillel, Kfar Yuval and Tel Hai, where sirens were blaring.
The Maariv newspaper reported that sirens were sounded in several cities on the Lebanese border and that the areas affected by the attacks were affected. The Yediot Ahronot newspaper reported that nearly 20 missiles were fired from Lebanon at Kiryat Shimona and that many of them were destroyed.
Hezbollah announced that its members targeted Kiryat Shimona with El Falek and Katyusha missiles. The operations in question were carried out in response to Israel’s attacks, especially on the Bint Jbeil district. While tensions have increased recently, Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip continue and clashes with Lebanese Hezbollah are also taking place on the northern border.
