Erdoğan and Biden Meeting: Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments

Erdoğan ve Biden Görüşmesi: İkili İlişkiler ve Bölgesel Gelişmeler

During the meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Joe Biden, bilateral relations between Turkey and the US, as well as important issues such as the Gaza issue, the hosting swap in Turkey, and regional and global developments, were discussed.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the Netanyahu administration, which is under the leadership of Israel, has proven at every step that it does not show serious will in the search for a ceasefire and peace. Erdoğan emphasized that the recent developments in the US House of Representatives have caused deep disappointment in Turkey and the world. He also stated that the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haniyeh dealt a heavy blow to the ceasefire efforts and that Israel’s efforts to spread the conflict in Gaza to the entire region continue to increase.

Erdoğan noted that Turkey was making every effort to further strengthen relations between Turkey and the US in every field and that it would continue to work in this direction.
