Latest Situation in Gaza: Israeli Attacks and Civilian Casualties
According to the latest statements from the Gaza Civil Defense Authority, many civilians have lost their lives in attacks carried out by Israeli warplanes. In particular, in the Khan Younis area, four Palestinians were killed in an attack on a three-wheeled vehicle called a “Tuk Tuk.” In addition, three more Palestinians were killed and many were injured in a bombing of a house in the area.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported that at least 39,677 Palestinians have been martyred in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, 16,314 of whom were children and 10,980 women. It was also stated that the number of those injured in the attacks has reached 91,645.
As a result of these attacks that are increasing day by day, it is estimated that there are still thousands of people under the rubble. In these clashes where civilian infrastructure is targeted, hospitals and educational institutions where the public takes shelter are also severely damaged. This situation is extremely worrying in terms of the safety of civilians.
