Today, with the regulations made in the education sector, significant changes have been made in the activities of the National Education Academy and the employment of education personnel.
National Education Academy and Education Personnel Employment
The Ministry of National Education may employ educational personnel in the National Education Academy service units and determine the duties of these personnel. Educational personnel will be employed within the framework of the Civil Servants Law and will carry out the educational activities of the Academy.
Those employed in contract personnel positions will be dismissed from their positions and their length of service will be reflected in their retirement rights. The service contract will be made in writing and can be extended for certain periods.
Course Fees to be Paid at the Academy
Professors, associate professors and assistant professors who work as teaching staff at the Academy will teach at certain hours and receive additional fees for these courses. Other teaching staff will also be paid additional fees according to their teaching hours.
Temporary Teaching Staff Assignment
Temporary teaching staff may be assigned to teach at the Academy. The time these people work at the Academy will be considered as having been spent at higher education institutions.
Protection of Education Workers from Violence
With the regulation made to protect education workers from violence, penalties for crimes committed will be increased and prison sentences will not be suspended.
Tenured Teachers Detected to be Incompetent
Permanent teachers who are found to be inadequate will be included in the training program and evaluated by the National Education Academy. Those who continue to be inadequate will be assigned to different positions.
Candidate Teacher Training Program
Those who work as candidate teachers at the Academy will be subjected to the Candidate Teacher Training Program and will be appointed as teachers after certain processes.
With this regulation, significant changes will occur in the education sector and the quality of education personnel will be increased.
