An accident caused by strong southwest wind occurred in the food market established within the Multi-Purpose Marketplace Complex in Keşan district of Edirne. In the incident, a woman was injured as a result of her market umbrella falling over.
The incident happened to 46-year-old Gülcan K. and her husband, who were visiting the market for shopping. The market umbrella fell down due to the strong southwest wind and hit Gülcan K., causing her injuries. Upon notice from the surrounding people, medical teams were directed to the scene.

Gülcan K., who was fainted, was taken to Keşan State Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention at the scene and treated. Hospital officials did not make a statement regarding her health condition.
