After noticing the rising smoke, 5 planes, 9 helicopters, 25 water tenders, 7 water supply vehicles, 3 dozers and 3 ground crews belonging to the Izmir Forestry Regional Directorate were dispatched to the region. The crews are fighting the flames. The fire, which has not been brought under control yet, carries the risk of spreading due to the wind.
