Protest After Friday Prayer at Bursa Ulu Mosque
A large group of people gathered at Bursa Grand Mosque, under the leadership of Bursa Voluntary Organizations Platform and Human Rights and Freedoms (IHH) Bursa Branch, after the Friday prayer, and lined up for the funeral prayer in absentia. After the prayer, prayers were said for Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi and all the martyrs. Hasan Yaşin, who made the press statement on behalf of Bursa Voluntary Organizations Platform, emphasized the occupation regime’s ongoing targeting of children, women, the elderly and civilians.
Yashin stated that not only Palestinians but also conscientious people who support Palestine are victims of the attacks of the occupying Israel. He added: “Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who was in the occupied West Bank to support Palestine, was martyred by the fire opened from close range by the occupation soldiers. Eygi will always be remembered fondly for her stance against the occupation and her honorable struggle. In the face of these tragic events, the whole world is suffering from oppression.” While people are expected to stand up against the Palestinians, they are unfortunately limited to statements of condemnation that do not benefit the Palestinians, while the people protest the atrocities of the occupying Israel with demonstrations attended by hundreds of thousands of people, while the USA and the Western world ignores what is happening and continues their support for the occupiers, with international organizations assuming great responsibilities. “It is unacceptable that he merely watches what is happening and does not take concrete steps to prevent the oppression.”
Yashin underlined that Israel is a great threat not only to the Palestinian people, but also to the whole world and humanity.
Funeral Prayer in Absentia in Eskişehir
There was an intense participation in the prayer performed at Reşadiye Mosque in Eskişehir. Making a press statement on behalf of the group, Young IHH President Ömer Koca, affiliated with Eskişehir Human Rights and Freedoms Humanitarian Aid Association, stated that Eygi will always be remembered with his honorable stance. Koca said, “Despite the protests attended by hundreds of thousands of people, the USA and the Western world ignore what is happening and continue their support for Israel.” he added:

Unfortunately, Islamic countries cannot fulfill their responsibilities in the face of all these events . 70 years in which the occupation regime disregarded human rights and did not recognize international law “It has been observed for more than a long time.” It has been seen that words and calls are not enough to stop the oppression. The international community, international organizations and states must fulfill their responsibilities as soon as possible. “A fair ceasefire must be established in an environment where the rights of the Palestinian people are not violated and the occupation must be ended.”
Funeral Prayer in Absentia in Kütahya
Many people gathered at the Grand Mosque for the funeral prayer in absentia organized by the Kütahya IHH Humanitarian Aid Association. Sebahattin Ceyhun, a member of the board of directors of the association, wished God’s mercy to Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi in the press statement he made after the prayer. Stating that they have difficulty understanding the lack of reaction of many countries to what is happening in Palestine, Ceyhun said, “Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi will always be remembered fondly for her stance against the occupation and her honorable struggle. While the whole world should stand up “against oppression, unfortunately, it is limited to expressions of condemnation that do not benefit the Palestinians.” .” he said.

The community gathered at the Kayıboyu Mosque in Bilecik after the noon prayer and prayed for those martyred in Israeli attacks. Making a press statement on behalf of the group gathered in front of the mosque, Bilecik IHH Humanitarian Aid Association President Ercan Çakmak reminding that Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who was in the West Bank to support Palestine, was martyred as a result of fire opened by Israeli soldiers Stating that Eygi will always be remembered fondly for his stance against the occupation and his honorable struggle, Çakmak said:
