Statement on Masjid al-Aqsa from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement criticizing the images shared by radical Jewish groups called “Temple Mount Activists Organization” about the blowing up of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. These images, published on social media with the title “Soon these days”, were carefully examined by the Ministry.
The statement pointed out that such organizations had made similar provocations before. It was emphasized that radical groups are constantly trying to replace the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock with their so-called temples.

Additionally, the statement pointed out that Israel is trying to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially with such steps. Warnings were made about the plans of radical Jewish organizations and usurper associations for the Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the intention of “committing a great crime” and the possible dire consequences of this situation. The Ministry warned that attempts against Al-Aqsa could cause outrage in the entire region.
It was stated that the Palestinian Authority continues its fight against the targeting of Al-Aqsa Mosque in coordination with Jordan. Finally, it was stated that the international community was insufficient to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities towards the violations suffered by the Palestinian people and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
