Senior officials within the Republican Party express growing concern about the implications of this decision and the Trump campaign’s initiatives. They worry that the party’s influence over essential get-out-the-vote operations may diminish, mirroring the challenges already faced in the realm of television advertising. “We have to accept it,” remarked Chris Carr, who played a pivotal role in managing the Trump campaign’s field operations in 2020. He has consistently advocated for Republicans to delegate these associated costs to outside groups. “Outside organizations are poised to take on a larger role in this process.
