Sudan Doctors Network (HDK) made a statement regarding the tragic events that occurred in the Sinnar region. In the statement, HDK strongly condemned the artillery bombardment against civilians and the great losses suffered during this bombardment. In particular, it was noted that citizens gathered in market places were targeted.
According to the details in the statement:
- It was reported that 21 people lost their lives as a result of the artillery bombardment.
- More than 70 people were injured and taken to hospitals.
In local media reports, it was stated that hospitals in Sinnar were overflowing and this situation created an urgent health crisis. Therefore, a call was made for blood donations. Local people are expected to help provide the necessary blood for the treatment of the injured.
