Clash Between Israeli Forces and Palestinians
According to information obtained from local sources, violent clashes took place between Palestinians in a vehicle in the village of Zebabide and Israeli forces raiding the area. During these clashes, Israeli army drones (UAVs) were also reported to have attacked. As a result of the incident, 3 Palestinians were killed and the vehicle they were in was completely burned.
On the other hand, the occupying Israeli army confirmed the attacks in a written statement, claiming that one of the martyred Palestinians was Visam Hazim, the responsible of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in Jenin. This situation has further increased the tension in the region.
On August 28, the occupying Israel announced that it had launched the most intensive and comprehensive military operation called “Summer Camps” against refugee camps in the cities of Jenin, Tulkerim and Tubas in the northern part of the occupied West Bank during the “Second Intifada” “, that is, since 2002. These operations brought about a series of attacks that seriously affected the civilian population in the region.
Israeli soldiers, who withdrew from the al-Faria Refugee Camp in Tulkerim after the al-Faria Refugee Camp in Tubas, continue their attacks in Jenin. These attacks continue for the third day and continue to make life difficult for the people of the region.
