According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli army left behind five martyrs, many wounded and extensive infrastructure damage as it withdrew from the city of Tulkerim. During the operations, which lasted approximately 48 hours, major roads, drinking water and sewage networks were largely destroyed by bulldozers. In addition, electricity poles were uprooted, houses were demolished and many vehicles were rendered unusable.

Israeli forces withdrew from al-Faria Camp in Tubas yesterday after a 30-hour period. The operation launched on August 28 under the name of “Summer Camps” against the camps in the cities of Jenin, Tulkerim and Tubas in the north of the occupied West Bank was announced as the most intense and comprehensive attack since the “Second Intifada” in 2002.

Since October 7, 2023, at least 670 Palestinians have been martyred in attacks by Israeli soldiers and Israelis who have usurped Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. This process has further increased tensions in the region and raised concerns in the international community.
