In an interview with AA, Arian made important assessments regarding the ongoing massacre in Gaza and the global reactions to this situation. Describing the conditions in Gaza, Arian said, “The situation that Palestinians are facing in Gaza is a war of genocide. This is a war of annihilation waged against the Palestinian people.”

Arian continued: “This is not just a war, but a calculated effort to destroy an entire population under the guidance of self-defense.” Drawing attention to the Israeli government’s efforts to depopulate Gaza and the West Bank, Arian said: “The steps Israel has taken since October 7, 2023 are part of a broader strategy to make Gaza unhabitable and to instill fear in the Palestinians.”

“Israel claims to be both a Jewish state and a democratic state. However, the number of Palestinians in the historic land of Palestine has long exceeded the number of Jews,” Arian said, highlighting the current “apartheid-like” conditions of Palestinians.

Touching on the issue of global backlash, Arian drew attention to the role of student movements, particularly in the United States, in challenging the status quo. “Students have always been the conscience of nations and have led the way for social change. We see this once again today with the protests against the genocide in Palestine,” he said.

Arian also described the influence of the Zionist lobby on US politics, media and finance as an undeniable fact. “This is the greatest force behind the suppression of pro-Palestinian voices,” he said. He continued by saying that the Palestinian people will not bow down and that “Palestinians refuse to be subject to this program of extermination and genocide. They are determined.”

Arian emphasized that Palestinians will “continue to resist” until they achieve freedom, independence and self-determination despite the great suffering they are experiencing. He also responded to a question about when Israel’s actions in Gaza will end, saying, “If it’s up to Netanyahu and his government, they will not stop as long as they aim to get rid of the Palestinians.”

Arian called for global unity to oppose Israel’s actions and “eradicate the racist, supremacist and aggressive Zionist regime”, adding: “A regime that kills babies, children, women and the elderly cannot survive in a just world. The world must unite to stop “This madness in Gaza before it is too late.”
