Open Education High Schools and Student Applications
Students whose parents have passed away, who have been given a protection order or who have been placed in a foster family have the right to benefit from open education high schools. In addition, students who have been under temporary care for one year of the adoption process will also be able to benefit from this opportunity. In addition, students who are in prison as detainees or convicts and those who receive education at home or in hospitals can also apply to open education high schools.
Apart from these, national athletes and students who have to go abroad while studying also have the opportunity to benefit from this right.
Convenience for Students Receiving Quran Memorization Training
On the other hand, students registered in the Quran memorization modules prepared by the Ministry’s Directorate General for Lifelong Learning and students receiving education in Quran memorization, Arabic and basic Islamic sciences in Quran courses opened by the Presidency of Religious Affairs will be granted the right to receive education in open education high schools, in line with the request of their parents.
These students must apply within six months at the latest from the occurrence of the specified situations.
